ASPECTS OF TECHNOLOGICAL APPROACH Laser cutting process:Laser cutting is a non-contact process, which uses a laser to cut materials. Initially, the beam pierces the material with a hole at the edge, and then the beam is continued along from there. The laser melts the material away that it is run over, so is more like melting than cutting. The focused laser beam is directed at the material, which then either melts, burns, vaporizes away, or is blown away by a jet of gas, leaving an edge with a high-quality surface finish. The cutting process is detailed, smooth, without heating and pressure on the cut material.
